update

well alot has gone on since christmas. I did some cross-country skiing, but wish I could have done more of that yet, but it has been quite cold on the weekends.

On January 24th, Stephan and I took off to Alberta for 10 days. We drove all around Alberta, and visitied friends and family. We stayed with my friend Juanita and went to Break Forth in Edmonton. I really recommend this christian conference to anyone. Then we went to my Uncle Glen and Auntie Kim and family. Stephan's car managed to break down and we had to replace a fuel pump (ouch!!!!). Then we stayed at West Edmonton Mall and went to the waterpark, and did some shoppping. Then we Stayed at Banff for a night and went up the Gondola. The weather was beautiful at -4. That sure beat the storm and cold weather we faced the days before. Then we went to see Stephan's great aunt Margaret. She is 88 and spunky as ever. She told us about living in Russia and Ukraine as a child and coming to Canada, and showed us pictures from Russia when she went back. We also saw Stephan's grandma who just went through Radiation for her cancer. The cancer has set in her bones and we are hoping and praying this will help her.

Then we went to see my Great Uncle Lorn and Great Aunt Marnie in Caronport, and then drove on home. So lots of hours in car, but is was great to spend lots of quatlity time with Stephan as his job does not allow that too much.

I will post some pictures on my next post from the trip. The mountains were so beautiful I wish I could live there.

way too long since last post

hi everyone

Life has been very busy since October. We have since moved on from Pine Ridge Church and are currently attending Cornerstone Alliance Church for the moment. The switch has been huge as Pine Ridge is very relaxed from Cornerstone. I miss my friends from there still.

October through now has been a blur. I was really sick since the summer and decided to go to a natoropath, and am now starting to have a proper functioning immune system. So that is an answer to prayer. I am feeling really good now.

Stephan is still working with American Income, and is waiting to hear about a differnt job opportunity. If he can get it, it will be great and his hours will work in sync with mine mostly, so hopefully that will work out.



I have enjoyed spending lots of time playing with my adorable niece Sarah who is growin up so fast , and is adorable.

Me and Stephan are now starting to work with YFC in Selkirk, and it definelty differnt from church youth, so it is taking a learning curve but it is starting to feel more comfortable. I do enjoy it though.

Christmas has been great and have been spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the time off work, I have to go back on January 2. then from the 24 of January till February 1, me and Stephan are going on a real holiday, we have not had one for awhile. So I am looking forward to that too.

not much new stuff

I am still home alot in the evenings by myself, with Stephan working. I started going to a womens bible study once a week, so that gives me a break. Of course I have my cute niece and sister to visit with.

Thanksgiving was good. I had three gathering with friends and family and lots of food. So I had a great weekend, no long weekend from work till November now. The bad thing now is I have plantar fasciatis, which is swelling by the heel, which really hurts, so now I have to rest alot in the evenings so I have lots of time to sit around.

i Hope my cars shop days are over for a long time

My car was in the shop a bit ago gettting it's belts replaced. I found out they were still the original ones. The bill hurt, but it was worth it, new battery, got a dud one and replaced that on the weekend, and lots of fuel injector cleaner, one injector still is not working like it should, but with more cleaner that will improve, but my car has more pick up than when I bought it, and is purring like a kitten. So an expensive month for my car but ultamitley worth it, cause my car is a diesel and I get amazing fuel economy. Although I do feel sorry for the mechanic who did the belts in my car because they are a royal pain to do.

This weekend I am leaving my husband home for a night and going with my mom, sister and my cute and adorable neice Sarah for a womens reatreat. I have not been to the whiteshell for a long time and am looking forward to that.

I have a cleaning at the dentist tommorrow, which I hate, but oh well it has to be done. I am scared I might have to get two wisdom teeth out, beacause they are giving me headaches quite a bit. I understand how Sarah feels with her teething pain right now, some days it is nasty. My dad always has said that we have those so we can have simpathy for little babbies and toddlers.

Stephan has been busy with work, and it feels so weird to not be doing youth ministry this fall, as this is our first year as not being a youth pastor couple. I geuss that will take some time yet.

Well Grand Forks was great. We had a good time and found some good deals down there. If you want to stay at a good hotel check out the the Americinn. Their rates are not too bad, and they have a pool and really good hot tub, and the rooms are really big, and the walls are sound proof.

This week is nice because it is a short week, so I only work four days. I went out to my parents place yesterday after work with Melissa and Sarah and had a good time visiting. A little tired but am looking forward to the weekend, and sleeping in on saturday.
