busy christmas

I have not been blogging for awhile. Life has been crazy since my last blog. We had our final youth event of 2006. We had a progressive supper which went really well. December has been a flurry of events. I dont know where this month went. I had a few family gatherings this month and have one more on new Years day. Now I get a few days off of work to relax after a few gatherings before I have to go back to work.

car stuff over

Stephan has had his car a 199 Hyundai Elantra for two weeks now and that is going well, with a a rear ender from someone. So now we have to deal with autopac againm, but this time the car is just getting fixed and not totalled.

I gave my old car to my dad, it can drive more peacefully in the country. I got my 1992 Jetta Diesel Turbo last night. The car is in immaculate conditon as it was fully restoreded lookwise. It has amazing fuel economy which is a huge benefit.

So all is solved in the veichle sense now, except now Stephan will have to use a courtesy car for a few days while his gets fixed.

I have had two christmas gathering already. I had on the 10th with Stephan's family and on the 17th we had a gathering with the Penner clan. I have one more this sunday, the 26th and the 1st. so this is a busy but good christmas holidays. I have from the 22 till the 2nd off of work with pay, so that is exciting. I am looking forward to the time off.

Got the car for Stephan

We got that Hynudai Elantra Wagon for Stephan. It is so handy for other things too, with being a wagon. So we are now waiting for the Jetta, it is getting some touch up work on it. It will look imaculate when we get it. Diesel is cheap, so that will be huge savings. We get a weekend off this Sunday. Some friends gave us a really nice gift. So we are excited. I have only nine more work days till i get some time off from work with pay. I get from December 22-January 1, 2006. So that will be relaxing, to get to spend some time with family and friends. We have quite a few christmas gatherings this year, and look forward to that.

I finally set up my tree yesterday, so now I just have a few more decorations to put up and then our place is all set for christmas

might have a car

Stephan is checking out a car today for him, so hopefully that goes well. It is a private sale from a family, so i hope it has a good track record if he gets it. It is a Kia Rio LS 2001 model. I am waiting till he gets home from work to find out. We also found a 1992 Jetta Diesel car that might become mine. This would allow me to earn more money at my job since i can take more people, as some the clients have mobility issues. Extra money on my check would be nice. I will update when i know what is happening.

got a car

My Aunt Gloria let us use her car for now, so that is an answer to prayer. Without a car he can't earn money. I will upload the pictures of his car when i get them from his dad. But what was crazy was that someone swiped the plates off my aunt car on Sunday night. So the adventures keep going. I still have to see the car yet, so i will go check that out this week.

bad day

Today was too interesting, work was too interesting for me, in a bad way, and Stephan had a car accident on the way home from work today. We don't know where his car is so we have to find it tommorrow, and he will probably need a car for inbetween so if you know of anyone who has an extra car that they might not mind borrowing out for a bit, let us know. We really need a car for him right now.

you probably all know, but for those who don't I am going to be an Auntie for my sister Melissa's baby. It is so much fun browsing through the stores right now.

I get a long weekend

I get monday off of work, so that is exciting. My workplace decided to close the office that day. But next week is crazy, CPR course, grey cup, etc, so it will be busy. This Saturday we are going to celebrate our friends daughter Elizabeths 3rd birthday. Happy birthday Elizabeth
